Thundery Outlook Covers 21 Districts on June 1
A forecast of thunderstorms, coupled with lightning and gusty winds, has been issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for 21 districts across Telangana on June 1. This weather shift comes as temperatures, which had reached up to 45.4 degrees Celsius in Bellampally and above 44 degrees Celsius in several other locations on May 30, begin to ease. The anticipated storms are expected to offer a gradual reduction in the intensity of the prevailing heatwave conditions across the state.

Scattered Activity Expected Evening and Night
The weather alert indicates that the thunderstorm activity is likely to be scattered, particularly occurring during the latter half of the day, extending into the evening and night hours. While Hyderabad might remain dry for most of the day, the capital city is also anticipated to experience such weather phenomena later on. North-eastern Telangana is predicted to see maximum temperatures between 41°C and 43°C, with Hyderabad itself potentially experiencing temperatures in the range of 39°C to 41°C.

A further dip in temperatures is anticipated after June 5.
