Multiple Air Raids Claim Lives Amidst Ongoing Conflict
Israeli air strikes targeted various locations across Gaza City on Thursday, resulting in the deaths of at least 11 Palestinians, including women and children, according to medical sources and eyewitness accounts. The attacks, which began in the early hours, struck at least four residential buildings in the Sheikh Radwan and Tel al-Hawa neighborhoods, as well as the Shati refugee camp. The Hamas-run Civil Defence agency reported that among the deceased were two children with disabilities belonging to the Labad family, alongside three women.

Further reports indicate that Hassan Labad, identified as a Hamas commander in northern Gaza, was killed in one of the strikes along with his wife and three children. The Israeli military stated that the strikes also resulted in the deaths of four senior members of Hamas's General Security Apparatus. Dozens of others were reported wounded in the attacks.

Escalating Toll Since Ceasefire
The recent strikes add to a growing casualty count since a ceasefire took effect last October. According to Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry, over 940 people have been killed in Israeli strikes since that period. Earlier reports from Thursday mentioned a separate airstrike near Wehda Street that killed one person, bringing the day's initial death toll to at least 10, with some figures stating 10 and others 11.
The incidents occur while international attention is also focused on the exchanges of fire between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Last week, Israel reported the killing of a top Hamas military leader, following the death of his predecessor two weeks prior. Official figures from Gaza health authorities suggest that over 72,000 Palestinians have died since the war commenced, the majority being civilians. Four Israeli soldiers have reportedly been killed in Gaza since the ceasefire was established.
