A woman, identified as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, of Orlando, Florida, has been charged with multiple felonies, including attempted murder and discharging a firearm at an inhabited dwelling, following a shooting incident at the Los Angeles home of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. The prosecutor stated that the couple, their three children, and Rihanna's mother were all present inside the mansion when shots were allegedly fired.
The incident occurred on Sunday, March 8, 2026, when a woman reportedly drove up to the property and discharged between seven and nine rounds from what police described as an AR-15-style rifle. Bullet holes were observed in the home's front gate. Ortiz faces a total of 14 felony counts, including ten counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and three counts of shooting at an inhabited vehicle or dwelling, specifically targeting Rihanna's house, a trailer, and a neighbor's home.

Authorities apprehended Ortiz shortly after the shooting. Law enforcement records indicate Ortiz has a prior police history in Florida, and social media posts suggest a connection to Rihanna, with the singer being mentioned and tagged on Ortiz's Facebook page. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the reports of gunfire at approximately 1:15 PM local time (9:15 PM GMT).
Separately, on Friday, February 5, 2026, gunfire was also reported outside the Los Angeles mansion of singer Chris Brown. A woman allegedly told authorities that a man fired at her vehicle during a confrontation near his Tarzana estate. This incident occurred as Brown is reportedly contesting evidence in a legal matter involving his former housekeeper, Maria Avila. The details surrounding the Friday incident remain under investigation, and Brown's representatives have not yet commented.
