A new district court complex, slated to cost ₹81.6 crore, has had its foundation stone laid virtually for the Rajanna Sircilla district. The structure will span five acres and is designed to house 12 courts under one roof, aiming to bolster judicial infrastructure and expedite justice delivery in the region.
The project's blueprint includes a 10+2 floor design, complete with a basement. The development is presented as a move towards strengthening the judiciary's capacity to uphold constitutional rights and ensure access to justice.

Officials and Dignitaries
The virtual foundation laying ceremony was attended by several High Court judges. Among those mentioned are Justice Alok Aradhe (Telangana High Court Chief Justice), Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh (Telangana High Court Chief Justice), and Justice N Tukaramji (Administrative Judge for the district). Other judges present, either virtually or in person, included Justice K Laxman, Justice Vijaysen Reddy, Justice N Narsinga Rao, Justice E V Venugopal, and Justice Pulla Karthik. District Collector Garima Agarwal and Superintendent of Police Mahesh B. Tukaramji also participated.

Infrastructure and Amenities
Beyond the courtrooms, the complex is expected to feature spacious halls, individual washrooms on each floor, waiting areas, and parking facilities capable of accommodating at least 300 cars. The integration of modern technology is highlighted as a means to enhance transparency and efficiency in court operations.

Context and Aims
The construction of this complex is framed as an "ambition for the district" and is intended to keep pace with the area's growth, including its status as a textile hub and its spiritual significance due to the Vemulawada Raja Rajeshwar Swami temple. An appeal was made to legal practitioners to reduce the district's pending case backlog, which currently exceeds 13,000.

The event also included the distribution of assistive devices and laptops to beneficiaries and students, alongside cultural performances.
