Second Concert Offers Free Entry To Previous Attendees, New Tickets On Sale
The Punjabi singer Karan Aujla has announced a new concert, dubbed 'Mumbai 2.0', to be held on April 12. This comes after significant criticism surfaced regarding the mismanagement of his Holi-themed concert in Mumbai on March 3. Attendees who purchased tickets for the initial March 3 show will receive complimentary access to the 'Mumbai 2.0' event. Limited tickets for new buyers are also available for purchase starting March 8, with prices ranging from Rs 2,999 for Silver seats to Rs 29,999 for the P-Pop Pit category.

Original ticket holders will have their seats upgraded to higher categories. For instance, General Access (GA) and VIP ticket holders are now slated for the Silver category, while Fan Zone ticket holders will be moved to Gold. The P-Pop Pit and King of Good Times Lounge categories will reportedly remain the same, with the latter retaining full hospitality benefits. Those wishing for further upgrades can pay the difference in price.

The decision to host 'Mumbai 2.0' follows public complaints about the previous event at the MMRDA Grounds. Attendees cited issues such as a lack of shaded areas, unavailability of free drinking water, and no alcohol sales at the March 3 concert. Promoters have stated the new concert is "designed to elevate the scale, technology and overall immersion of the performance," aiming to create a "wild party" experience.

The 'Mumbai 2.0' concert is part of Aujla's 'P-Pop Culture India Tour', which has previously performed in Delhi and Pune. The tour is scheduled to continue in other cities across India through March and April. The singer announced the upcoming show via a video shared on his Instagram account.

"For everyone who came out to celebrate with us, we’re coming back to create magic again and this time, it’s going to be one wild party."
The initial Mumbai concert on March 3 reportedly drew an audience of approximately 15,000 people. Reports suggest Aujla had previously acknowledged the concerns raised after his Pune concert, promising to organize another show in Mumbai to rectify the situation. The 'Mumbai 2.0' concert is presented as an effort to address the fan dissatisfaction and deliver a more satisfactory live entertainment experience.
