Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with misdemeanor battery. Police state Ogunbowale allegedly punched a man at the Miami nightclub E11EVEN. Authorities report that security at the club flagged down a Miami Police Department officer around 4:20 a.m. The alleged victim, who may have been a security staffer, told officers that Ogunbowale "punched him in the face with a closed fist, causing him to fall to the ground." Security camera footage reviewed by the arresting officer reportedly corroborated this account. Ogunbowale was taken into custody without incident and later released on bond.
