The plan includes the construction of a new municipal office building, the refurbishment of the municipal library, and the establishment of modern shopping complexes at the lorry stand and market.
Further underscoring a focus on community well-being, ₹62 lakh is designated for the provision of medicines to residents within the municipality, with an additional ₹2.94 crore allocated for other health sector activities. Financial provisions have also been made for other key areas: the agriculture sector receives ₹27 lakh, and animal husbandry ₹18.85 lakh. Notably, ₹1.18 crore is set aside for development projects specifically targeting people of the Scheduled Castes.

Hospital Renovation Details Emerge
Further specifics regarding the Taluk Hospital's upgrades are coming to light through tender processes. A contract valued at ₹12,20,460 has been issued for the renovation of the Taluk Hospital as part of the Annual Plan 2025-26. This works contract, identified by Tender Reference Number PW1/2497328/62/25-26, mandates a completion timeline of 150 days. The tender process requires a tender fee of ₹3,527 and an Earnest Money Deposit of ₹30,512.
