University's Electronics Department Spearheads 24-Hour Innovation Drive
JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU) in Mysuru recently hosted a 24-hour event, the ‘SruJSShTi 2026 EC Hackathon’. The initiative, organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, with support from the IQAC and the Institution’s Innovation Council, saw students engaging in a concentrated burst of technological creation.
The hackathon’s declared aim was to foster innovation and tackle real-world issues through technology. Participants were drawn from various academic semesters, presenting ideas designed to address contemporary challenges. Mr. Rangaswamy, in his address, urged students to move beyond mere theoretical learning, emphasizing the practical application of knowledge and the development of solutions relevant to current societal needs.
