UConn's collective performance earns widespread recognition across the Big East Conference, with several players securing spots on All-Conference teams and special honors.
Five UConn men's basketball players have been recognized with All-Big East honors, marking a significant achievement for the program. The conference announced its selections, highlighting the team's depth and individual contributions throughout the season. Three Huskies secured spots on the All-Big East First Team, a historic first for the program.
Among those lauded, Solo Ball and Alex Karaban were named to the All-Big East Second Team. This marks Karaban's second consecutive All-Conference selection, having previously been an All-Freshman pick. Liam McNeeley earned a spot on the All-Big East Third Team and was a unanimous choice for the All-Freshman Team.

The Huskies' captain, Demary Jr., also received his first All-Big East honors, being named to the First Team and the inaugural All-Defensive team. In league action, Demary Jr. led the conference with an average of 7.4 assists per game. Stepping into the starting center role, Tarris Reed Jr. was a First Team All-Big East selection. In conference play, Reed Jr. averaged 13.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and a league-best 2.1 blocks per game. Ball also averaged 13.6 points per game in league play, leading the Huskies in scoring over the regular season.

McNeeley and Tarris Reed Jr. were previously recognized with weekly Big East awards following a successful two-game stretch for the team. McNeeley delivered a notable performance on February [Date Missing], recording an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double. In Big East play, he averaged 14.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.6 blocks.

The conference also recognized Alex Karaban and Solo Ball with All-BIG EAST Second Team selections. Liam McNeeley received a third-team nod and was a unanimous pick for the All-Freshman Team.
Other players in the Big East are also making their mark. St. John's Zuby Ejiofor leads his team in multiple statistical categories, including points, rebounds, assists, and blocks, ranking among the top 10 in the league for each. Ejiofor and Ball are also noted on the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year watch list. Marquette's Chase Ross has seen an increase in scoring but a decrease in shooting percentages compared to the previous season.

The Big East Conference is scheduled to announce its Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, Sixth Man, and Sportsmanship awards.
The Huskies, having come up just short of the regular-season Big East title, now look ahead to the Big East Tournament. The team has also received votes in the AP Top 25 poll.
