The pair, residents of Thurmont, Maryland, succumbed to their injuries in a Baltimore hospital on Monday, March 2nd, six days after their vehicle was struck. They were 90 and 88 years old, respectively.

The collision occurred on February 24th near Route 15 and Hessong Bridge Road in Frederick County.
