Background of Strife and Faith
The ministry's announcement comes amid reports of internal disputes. Notably, allegations of abuse cover-ups and financial misconduct were previously raised by Jonathan Lamb, Joni Lamb's son, and his wife, Suzy Lamb, claims Joni Lamb had consistently denied. These accusations surfaced during a period of conflict over network control following the death of her husband and co-founder, Marcus Lamb.
Daystar characterized Joni Lamb as someone who faced her private health battles with resilience, even authoring a book titled Through the Storm. The network emphasized her deep faith and passion for spreading the gospel as central to her life's work. Memorial plans are expected to be announced at a later date.
