DES MOINES, IA – Hours after his release from custody, a man identified by authorities as Jared Jackson died by suicide following the shooting death of his former partner, Jessica Henderson, and her dog. Police are continuing their examination of the events.
Henderson had previously alerted authorities on April 27th to threats she received from Jackson after their relationship had recently concluded. Jackson's liberation on bond occurred less than seven hours prior to the fatal incident.
