Goldridge Prospect Targeted for New Discoveries
Dalaroo Metals has initiated a significant soil geochemical sampling program across a 9-kilometer-long corridor at its Goldridge prospect, situated within the Bondoukou gold project in northeastern Côte d’Ivoire. The operation, involving approximately 4,400 samples, aims to map out gold mineralisation and pinpoint areas ripe for future drilling. This large-scale survey is designed to delineate the extent and intensity of gold deposits, guiding subsequent trenching and exploratory drilling efforts. The company is specifically looking to extend known high-priority zones and uncover potential new gold-bearing structures.
The targeted corridor, identified through aeromagnetic data and earlier exploration, stretches roughly 9.5 kilometers in its entirety. Previous rock-chip sampling in March yielded promising results, with assays from artisanal workings returning gold grades as high as 17.95 grams per tonne. Four out of six samples collected then fell between 3.59 g/t and 17.95 g/t gold, suggesting a robust mineralizing system. Geological indicators observed in the field, such as lateritic clays and gravels with quartz fragments and characteristic alterations (hematite, goethite, limonite), are consistent with a hydrothermal gold environment.

Strategic Focus on Structural Trends
The current sampling campaign focuses on defining the continuity and strength of gold mineralization. It will also specifically target extensions to a previously identified 2.5-kilometer strike gold corridor, with the aim of locating additional parallel or concealed structures along the broader trend. The geochemical results from this extensive soil program are expected to provide crucial data for identifying multiple targets for follow-up trenching and reverse circulation drilling.
Dalaroo Metals, an Australia-listed entity, is primarily engaged in early-stage gold exploration. The Bondoukou project represents one of its key assets in the region.
The company's strategy hinges on leveraging geochemical data to de-risk exploration and advance towards potential discoveries.
