Ministry Officials Assert Abundant LPG Reserves
ANDHRA PRADESH – Authorities have declared that the state possesses ample liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to meet both household and commercial needs. Nadendla Manohar, the Minister for Civil Supplies, stated on Tuesday that there is no current scarcity and advised the public against succumbing to unfounded concerns. He specifically pointed to ongoing international conflicts, asserting that these have not yet disrupted the flow of LPG into the region.

The government is closely observing the entire supply chain for LPG, from refineries in Visakhapatnam and distribution points in Mangaluru to various depots of major companies like HPCL, BPCL, and IOC. This oversight aims to guarantee that no citizen experiences disruptions in their gas supply.

Vigilance Against Diversion and Price Gouging
In an effort to maintain steady availability, Joint Collectors have been tasked with forming specialized vigilance teams. These units are expected to actively monitor and prevent the illegal rerouting of LPG cylinders and any attempts at clandestine sales or overcharging. The Minister implored people to disregard "unverified information" circulating on social media platforms, which he suggested was a primary driver of current anxieties.

The administration is reportedly tracking gas availability on a district-by-district basis, ready to intervene should any local disruptions arise.
Official Assurances Amidst Apparent Uncertainty
Multiple official statements this week have reiterated the same message: the state's LPG supply is secure. Minister Manohar has repeatedly assured the populace that sufficient reserves are on hand and that citizens need not panic. He explicitly mentioned that the central government is also maintaining a watchful eye on the broader gas supply situation. The assurances come as reports and public discourse suggest a degree of unease regarding availability, prompting the minister's repeated clarifications.
The logistics of supply appear to rely on multiple distribution channels, including a pipeline from Hassan Cherlapalli, originating in Mangaluru, and processing facilities located in Visakhapatnam. This multi-pronged approach, officials suggest, bolsters the state's capacity to ensure continuous delivery.
