MUMBAI – Actor Tabu has reportedly purchased a luxury apartment valued at Rs 10 crores in Godrej Skyshore, a development located in the Versova area of Mumbai. The acquisition adds another significant property to the acclaimed actress's real estate holdings.
Property documents, accessed via Liases Foras, detail the transaction, indicating the apartment spans approximately 2,153 square feet, inclusive of a 127-square-foot balcony. The purchase also includes two dedicated car parking spaces. This move places Tabu within a locality increasingly favored by film personalities and affluent buyers.
Godrej Skyshore, situated on a land parcel exceeding 27,000 square feet, comprises two towers, each designed with 24 floors above ground, alongside basement levels. The project's location in Versova continues to cement the area's status as a desirable address for celebrity homeowners seeking premium residences.
Tabu, known for her critically acclaimed roles and numerous awards, including multiple National Film Awards and Filmfare Awards, has not yet released an official statement regarding the new acquisition. However, the property deal, which reportedly involved a stamp duty of ₹5.24 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000, is being viewed as a substantial investment. Industry observers note this aligns with a broader trend of established actors seeking privacy and modern amenities in the Versova-Andheri belt, proximity to studios and coastal access being key draws.
