Lucknow, May 19, 2026 – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared on Sunday that 96% of the state's schools now possess all necessary facilities, a claim made during an event honouring part-time instructors. The statement positions the government's actions as demonstrative of its commitment to educational infrastructure.
The Chief Minister asserted that the administration is "not just talking but showing through its actions," linking this to the reported near-complete provision of facilities in educational institutions. He highlighted the successful rollout of government initiatives, specifically mentioning the 'Chalo School' campaign.
Further details emerged regarding administrative flexibility for educators. Over 4,000 part-time instructors have reportedly been granted the ability to voluntarily transfer between schools. This move, presented as a practical benefit for instructors, was discussed during the felicitation and cheque distribution ceremony held in Lucknow.
The Chief Minister also touched upon the public perception of the BJP, stating that the party's leadership is prominently viewed when conversations turn to "nationalism and political values." This observation was part of his remarks at the event, which aimed to acknowledge the contributions of part-time instructors.
