Postponement Tied to International Appeal Following CinemaCon
KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations have once again postponed the release of Yash's upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The decision, announced on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, stems from a desire to align the film's release strategy with a broader international rollout. The film, already complete, was originally slated for a June 4 release, a date now superseded by plans for a more globally coordinated launch.
The latest delay follows the film's recent presentation at CinemaCon. This event, a significant industry trade show, reportedly generated substantial interest from global distributors and industry representatives. The producers cite this encouraging response as the impetus for reassessing their release plans, aiming for the "biggest possible scale" for the film's audience reach.
The movie, shot in both Kannada and English, is also being prepared for dubbed releases in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. This multilingual approach underscores the ambition for a wide geographical distribution.

Actor Yash Acknowledges Delay, Emphasizes Global Vision
In a statement released on Wednesday, actor and producer Yash acknowledged the postponement. He conveyed that the film's completion is not in question, but rather the timing of its release. "While we will not be releasing on June 4 as announced earlier, we will be releasing at a later, globally aligned date," he stated.
Yash expressed gratitude for fan patience, attributing the shift to the film's potential demonstrated at CinemaCon. He noted that the "enthusiasm from international buyers" reinforced the belief that Toxic warrants a wider global reach. The production team is actively working on securing global distribution deals and partnerships to facilitate this expansive release.
This marks at least the second postponement for Toxic. Previously, the film's release, initially scheduled for March 19, was also rescheduled, reportedly due to "Middle East regional instability." The specifics of the new, globally aligned release date remain to be announced.
