Suicide Ruling Issued Amid Cyberbullying Allegations
Darrell Sheets, a fixture on the reality television program 'Storage Wars,' died at age 67. The Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office has officially ruled his death a suicide. This determination follows reports of the star experiencing online harassment in the period preceding his death. Police confirm they have submitted Sheets' cell phone for forensic analysis as part of an ongoing investigation into these cyberbullying claims.
Lake Havasu City Police Sergeant Kyle Ridgway stated that while the death has been ruled a suicide, toxicology results are still pending. Authorities are reportedly examining the cell phone to ascertain whether any online harassment may have contributed to the circumstances of his death.
Sheets was discovered deceased at his residence in Arizona on April 22. Reports indicate the cause was an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Several individuals associated with 'Storage Wars,' including co-star Laura Dotson, have spoken to media outlets, alleging that Sheets had been subjected to online harassment for at least three years.

His co-star, Rene Nezhoda, voiced similar concerns, claiming Sheets was being "tormented" by a cyberbully. Nezhoda remarked, "And a month later we find him dead," adding that bullying "doesn’t entitle you to bully somebody.”
Sheets had previously spoken about his struggles with depression. He operated an antique business in Arizona named "Havasu Show Me Your Junk." His son, Brandon Sheets, posted a public tribute to his father following the news.
