LOS ANGELES AND LONDON TO HOST "POKÉMON NIGHT OUT" EVENTS
The Pokémon Company is orchestrating a pivot into the electronic dance music sphere with "Pokémon Night Out," a series of concerts slated for Los Angeles and London. This initiative marks a significant departure from traditional franchise celebrations, aiming to fuse the brand's established lore with contemporary music culture. The events are a cornerstone of the franchise's ongoing 30th anniversary commemorations.
EVENT DETAILS AND ARTIST LINEUP
The "Pokémon Night Out" events will feature headline performances from Marshmello and Alison Wonderland. These artists, recognized figures in the EDM landscape, are reportedly chosen for their existing connections to the franchise and their capacity to deliver an "audiovisual celebration" of Pokémon's nearly three-decade history. The concerts are designed as immersive experiences, incorporating custom musical sets, elaborate stage productions, and visuals steeped in Pokémon imagery.
