Six individuals were transported to Cape Fear Valley Hospital following a three-vehicle collision on NC Highway 210 near Anderson Creek School Road on Friday night. All three vehicles were traveling southbound.
Emergency responders arriving at the scene discovered three damaged vehicles, one of which had overturned off the roadway. Flat Branch Fire Rescue confirmed the transport of the six injured parties, including the drivers of all involved vehicles and three passengers.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the sequence of events, which involved a northbound vehicle reportedly crossing into the path of the southbound traffic. This initial incident caused one vehicle to spin. A subsequent collision occurred when a third vehicle, a Toyota, struck the spinning car.
Details regarding the severity of the injuries sustained by the six hospitalized individuals have not been released. The roadway remained closed for several hours as authorities processed the scene. The incident occurred on March 6, 2026.
