Alexandra Delacaridad Gonzalez, a former bookkeeper for Avant-Garde Property Management, is the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the Martin County Sheriff's Office. Authorities allege Gonzalez systematically diverted hundreds of thousands of dollars from homeowners associations she managed, using the funds for personal expenses, including what prosecutors term "vain pursuits."

Investigators claim Gonzalez, 46, wrote checks directly to herself from HOA accounts over an extended period. Subpoenaed records reportedly detail the expenditure of these funds on shopping sprees, plastic surgery procedures, and lavish vacations. Law enforcement further alleges she concealed the thefts by creating fake invoices and ledger entries, and by forging the signatures of authorized account holders.

Gonzalez, who reportedly worked as a property manager and bookkeeper, is now on the run. The Martin County Sheriff's Office has requested public assistance in locating her, and also urges anyone who believes they may have been victimized in a similar manner to come forward. Gonzalez has a prior arrest for knowingly driving with a suspended, revoked, or canceled license.
