A televised presence, Jarrod Woodgate, known from his time on The Bachelorette Australia, has wed Kristy Love. The ceremony took place in the countryside of the Yarra Valley. Woodgate was seen shedding tears during the event.
The couple announced their engagement in April, with Woodgate reportedly proposing to Love, a dance teacher and business owner. This union marks a significant point for Woodgate, who has previously spoken about his search for a lasting relationship. He has stated that he has "finally found my forever" with Love.
The pair met previously through an attempt at a setup by Love's mother at a concert, though Woodgate indicated they were not in the right headspace for a relationship at that time.
Woodgate, who first gained public recognition in 2017 as a runner-up on The Bachelorette Australia, has had a public history concerning his relationships and well-being. He appeared on Bachelor in Paradise the following year.
In recent years, Woodgate relocated to the Northern Territory, where he now works as a radio presenter. He had previously spent 12 years in the Australian Army before being medically discharged and worked on his family's vineyard. He made his relationship with Kristy Love public on Instagram on December 27, 2023, sharing a photo of them together with the caption, "Hope everyone got what they wished for this Christmas, because I did ❤️."

Woodgate has been candid about his struggles with mental health, including PTSD, anxiety, and depression. In 2022, he and his then-partner Samantha Royce separated, with Royce stating that Woodgate's mental health issues contributed to their breakup, and that he intended to address these challenges "alone." At the time of that split, Woodgate was 36 years old.
He and Kristy Love currently reside in the Top End with their three dogs and have expressed intentions to settle down together. Woodgate, aged 39, has linked his past relationship difficulties to a lack of mental readiness.
