Recruitment Rally Set for March 9-15 at Acharya Nagarjuna University
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is slated to host a recruitment rally for Agniveervayu personnel, specifically for the "Other than Science Stream," commencing March 9 at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The event, intended for unmarried male and female candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, is scheduled to run through March 15, according to multiple reports. This initiative falls under Intake 02/26 of the Agniveervayu program, a component of the broader 'Agnipath' scheme.

The rally will unfold across several days, with distinct schedules for different candidate groups.

March 9-10: Unmarried female candidates from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
March 12-13: Unmarried male candidates from Andhra Pradesh.
March 15-16: Unmarried male candidates from Telangana.
The physical tests and subsequent written examinations are expected to commence daily from 6 AM onwards. Officials have highlighted that the direct participation format, without prior online registration, is intended to broaden access for a greater number of aspiring youth.

Venue and Eligibility
The designated location for these recruitment activities is the main gate of Acharya Nagarjuna University, situated on NH-16 in Nagarjuna Nagar, Guntur. Candidates seeking to enlist as Agniveervayu personnel must possess an Intermediate (or equivalent) qualification, a three-year Polytechnic Diploma, or a two-year Vocational Course (ITI).

The selection process, as outlined, will involve a physical fitness test (PFT), document verification, and a written test. For male candidates, the physical standards test (PST) will assess aspects like height and chest expansion, while the PFT will include push-ups, sit-ups, and a 1.6 km run. Adaptability Tests 1 and 2 will also form part of the selection regimen.
