Four persons suffered serious injuries in a gas balloon explosion on Friday morning at the Brahma Kumaris centre in Gachibowli. The explosion happened as workers attempted to handle the balloon, which had entered the premises.

The injured were promptly transported to private hospitals for medical attention. The condition of at least one individual is reported as critical, with one volunteer sustaining approximately 50% burn injuries.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident. The Gachibowli police have registered a case against the organizer, identified as Rahul, citing alleged negligence. Initial reports suggest the balloon was part of preparations for a Holi event, possibly held at the Sandhya Convention.
