HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY IN HUDSON, MASSACHUSETTS
Devin Dube, a 29-year-old man, faces murder charges following an alleged violent incident on Tuesday, March 31st, in Hudson, Massachusetts. Authorities state Dube repeatedly struck his 90-year-old grandmother, identified as Elaine Dube, with a skateboard, causing fatal injuries. The attack reportedly occurred in the basement apartment of the residence shared by Dube and his grandmother.

The primary incident appears to have begun with an assault on Dube's sister, who alerted police via a 911 call reporting her brother was attacking her with a skateboard. Subsequent calls from within the home indicated Dube had also attacked his grandmother.

OTHER RELATIVES SUSTAIN INJURIES
In addition to the fatality, Devin Dube is accused of assaulting his father and sister with the same skateboard. Both family members sustained injuries and were treated and released from the hospital. The skateboard used in the alleged attacks has not yet been recovered.

SUSPECT'S HISTORY AND APPREHENSIONS
Devin Dube was apprehended by police hiding in a van near the residence. Officials indicate Dube has a history of mental health issues, specifically schizophrenia, and was reportedly experiencing hallucinations at the time of the incident. He was taken into custody without incident.

A judge entered a plea of not guilty on Dube's behalf at Marlboro District Court. He has been ordered to undergo a 20-day psychiatric evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital and is being held without bail pending further proceedings.
