New York, NY – Rapper Cardi B has publicly stated that approximately $60,000 was fraudulently spent on her stolen American Express credit card. The artist detailed the alleged incident via an Instagram Live session on Monday, April 6th. She claims four individuals are responsible for the unauthorized purchases.
The incident came to light as Cardi B received immediate purchase notifications on her phone and her accountant received similar alerts, indicating a spree of activity from Saks Fifth Avenue and an Apple Store.

Cardi B has asserted she possesses photographic evidence of the individuals involved, though she stated her security team advised against releasing these images publicly, possibly due to an ongoing police investigation. She made threats against the alleged thieves, stating they would face legal consequences and be made to repay the stolen funds.

The rapper mentioned that her American Express card had been missing for about two weeks prior to the fraudulent transactions being detected. The initial suspicious purchase reported was for $40,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue, followed by a $20,000 purchase at an Apple Store approximately 35 minutes later. These large, rapid transactions triggered alarm bells for Cardi B.
This alleged fraud occurred while Cardi B is in the midst of her "Little Miss Drama" tour. She emphasized her strong stance against financial malfeasance, stating, "I don't play about my money."
