Bee Shaffer and Francesco Carrozzini confirm separation after nearly eight years of marriage, a mere eleven days after appearing together at the highly publicized 2026 Met Gala.
The announcement arrives less than two weeks following their joint attendance at the May 4th fashion extravaganza, where Shaffer was observed still wearing her wedding band.
"After ten wonderful years together, we have decided to separate," the former couple stated in a joint release to Page Six. "This is the only statement we will make, and we respectfully ask for privacy.”
The pair, who first exchanged vows in a Long Island ceremony in July 2018, had also reportedly celebrated with a second event in Portofino, Italy. While their relationship began with occasional appearances on each other's Instagram feeds, recent months had seen fewer shared sightings, fueling prior whispers of marital strain.
Shaffer, 38, is the daughter of influential fashion figure Anna Wintour, former editor-in-chief of Vogue. Carrozzini, 43, is noted for his work as a filmmaker and photographer. The couple shares a son, born approximately three years into their union.
