The game was tied in the fifth inning when Derry managed to rally, capitalizing on mistakes made by Beaver Area. This surge erased a two-run lead the Bobcats had established earlier. Despite the struggles in the field, Beaver Area managed to scatter 10 hits throughout the game, demonstrating offensive potential.
