Ariel Winter and Nolan Gould, familiar faces from the long-running ABC sitcom "Modern Family," are now sharing a residence in Los Angeles. Winter, 28, confirmed the new living arrangement in a recent conversation with People magazine, stating, "I rent a house with Nolan." The move comes shortly after Winter's breakup with actor Luke Benward.
The real-life roommates played on-screen siblings Alex and Luke Dunphy for eleven seasons of the show, developing a close bond that has persisted beyond the series' finale.
Winter, who has been dividing her time between Los Angeles and Nashville, where she previously resided with Benward, noted the unusual nature of their current situation. "People ask me about a 'Modern Family' reboot, but Nolan and I are real roommates now," she commented, suggesting their current dynamic offers its own form of continuity. The actress indicated that their day-to-day interactions, including shared viewings of reality television such as "Temptation Island," are amusing enough to warrant a show of their own. "I'm not gonna lie, when we sit there at night, and we watch, like, Temptation Island together, it's pretty hilarious," Winter told People.

The actors were quite young when they began on "Modern Family," with Winter being 11 and Gould 10 years old. Their shared experience on the series, which concluded when Winter was 22, appears to have forged a lasting connection. Winter has expressed difficulty adjusting to life after the show, missing the daily presence of her castmates, whom she described as akin to an "extended family."
The news of their cohabitation has elicited a positive reaction from fans. Discussions on online forums highlight a sense of warmth and nostalgia, with sentiments like "It makes me happy that they're still close, this is cute" circulating among viewers. The arrangement has been framed by some as a "little reboot" of their on-screen dynamic.
