A Life Defined by Overcoming Adversity
Webber's journey to prominence in the cornhole world was marked by his remarkable resilience. At just 10 months old, he contracted a severe bacterial infection, Streptococcus pneumoniae, that necessitated the amputation of all four limbs. Despite this life-altering event, which doctors had considered terminal, Webber developed a unique way of navigating his world and became known for his self-sufficiency.
Friends recall his determination to adapt, noting modifications he made to car pedals and his use of prosthetic legs for driving. Before finding his calling in cornhole, Webber was reportedly involved in activities like wrestling and football, demonstrating an early passion for sports. His affinity for cornhole began around the age of eight, and he later found a competitive outlet at the local American Legion. His groundbreaking entry into the ACL in 2021 drew significant attention.
