Braden Peters, known online as Clavicular, was hospitalized on Tuesday following a suspected overdose during a livestream. Reports indicate the incident occurred while Peters was broadcasting on the platform Kick. His current condition remains unknown.
The livestream reportedly showed Clavicular appearing unwell, with friends asking if he needed assistance. 911 dispatch audio from the event confirms a call for a response to the location. The stream concluded abruptly as Clavicular became unresponsive.
History of Controversial Content and Legal Issues
Clavicular, a prominent figure in the 'looksmaxxing' community, has been associated with extreme and controversial content. His online persona centers on optimizing physical appearance, which has included practices such as "bone smashing," use of anabolic steroids, and lipodissolve products. He gained notoriety in 2025 on Kick and TikTok.
His online activities have led to several brushes with the law and public scrutiny.

In February 2026, Peters was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona, on charges including possession of dangerous drugs (Adderall and Anavar) and a forged instrument. During his arrest, he was reportedly seen on stream asking bar patrons for Adderall.
Earlier this year, he was arrested in Florida on a misdemeanor battery warrant.
A March 26 livestream allegedly showed Clavicular and his crew shooting an alligator in the Everglades, leading to an ongoing investigation.
Public Statements and Online Persona
Clavicular's commentary has often courted controversy.
In a December 2025 interview with Michael Knowles, Peters described Vice President JD Vance as "subhuman" and "obese," while contrasting him with California Governor Gavin Newsom, whom he referred to as "Chad" for his perceived attractiveness.
He has also made disparaging remarks about celebrities' appearances, including actress Sydney Sweeney, whom he called "malformed."
His brand of "nihilism" has been noted as appealing to young men, with some commentators describing him as an "edgelord folk hero." His content has also been linked to aggressive sexism and the use of racial slurs.
The streamer has also been involved in incidents where he appeared to lose consciousness on stream. In a recent viral video, he was seen being choked and becoming unconscious mid-broadcast. He had previously stated he would "tap out" if uncomfortable, but in the incident involving the chokehold, it took effect too quickly for him to react.
Peters has also engaged in public confrontations, including storming out of a 60 Minutes Australia interview when challenged on the links between the 'looksmaxxing' community and misogynistic subcultures. His actions have drawn attention to the safety of content creators and the responsibilities of live streaming platforms.
