The inclusion of Snapper Rocks on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour circuit marks a notable return after its absence since the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. The break, located near Coolangatta, has historically been a significant venue on the tour, hosting elite competitions from 2002.
