Para Ice Hockey matches will run throughout the tournament, with preliminary rounds beginning on March 7th and culminating in the Gold medal game on March 15th, the final day of competition before the Closing Ceremony. Wheelchair curling events will also span much of the Games, starting with round-robin sessions and concluding with medal matches on March 14th.
The organizers, with a particular focus on French athletes, aim for dominance in para-biathlon, para-alpine skiing, and para-snowboarding, leveraging both the snowy landscapes of the Dolomites and the urban venues of Milan. The event is presented as a demonstration of strength and resilience, pushing athletic boundaries.
