Whispers in the film industry suggest Kareena Kapoor Khan is in "advanced talks" for the female lead in filmmaker duo Raj & DK's upcoming superhero project, a high-budget film reportedly starring Salman Khan. If finalized, this collaboration would mark the pair's fifth on-screen pairing and their first in over a decade, since their 2015 success Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Multiple reports, surfacing around May 5th, 2026, indicate that Khan may have personally reached out to Kapoor Khan for the role. The film, described as a "love story with a difference" and aiming to push both actors beyond their established personas, is a significant venture for Raj & DK, marking their return to theatrical releases after a successful run on over-the-top (OTT) platforms. However, a definitive confirmation of Kapoor Khan's casting has yet to be issued, with one report noting that casting for the film is not slated to begin until June.
