Poland Hosts World Indoor Championships
Australian runner Jessica Hull secured a silver medal in the 1500m at the World Indoor Championships in Poland, marking her second medal of the weekend. This performance also saw Hull shatter the Australian national record for the indoor 1500m, becoming the first Australian woman to break the four-minute barrier in the event.

Hull’s silver comes just 24 hours after she claimed a bronze medal in the 3000m. Despite her consistent success, Hull expressed a sense of unfinished business, stating, "My time is coming."

Australia as a nation achieved a notable performance, gathering a total of five medals across the three-day championships. While gold remained elusive for the Australian team, the medal haul signifies a strong showing.

Other notable Australian performances include Adam Spencer, who surprised with a bronze medal in the men's 1500m. In the 800m, Peter Bol set a new Oceanian record, though he narrowly missed out on a medal.
