Currumbin, Gold Coast - Yesterday night, a passenger bus veered off Teemangum Street and struck a tree after its driver was targeted by individuals on e-bikes. The assailants hurled rocks at the vehicle's windscreen, causing the driver to lose control. The bus, carrying the driver and five passengers, was ambushed around 11:23 PM.
None of the passengers sustained injuries. The female bus driver was transported to Robina Hospital for observation as a precautionary measure following the incident. Police are actively searching for the group responsible, described as riding e-bikes. The investigation into the "hoon attack," as it was termed, continues.
