The event, MVPW-02, commenced with prelims on ESPN-Plus at 6:45 p.m. ET, followed by the main card on ESPN at 10 p.m. ET. The weigh-ins for the Baumgardner-Shin and Green-Daniels bouts occurred on Thursday at the same venue, with both champions and their challengers meeting the contracted weight limits. Baumgardner tipped the scales at 129.8 lbs, while Shin weighed in at 129.4 lbs. Green and Daniels also made weight for their super middleweight clash.
