Andhra Pradesh Power Upgrade Promises Early Completion

In Andhra Pradesh, a ceremony was held Monday for 56 power infrastructure facilities, an undertaking valued at ?96.90 crore. The scope includes laying underground power cables in Rajamahendravaram and the construction of a new power station in the Rajanagaram Assembly constituency. Telangana Temple Project Eyes Global Status

Simultaneously, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy led a 'bhumi puja' for the Basara temple project in Nirmal district. This initiative represents an investment of Rs 225 crore aimed at transforming the Goddess Saraswathi temple into a "world-class spiritual destination." The plans detail an expansion of the built-up area from 20,000 to 62,000 square feet, with the sanctum sanctorum increasing from 2,000 to 5,000 square feet. A significant feature is the proposed construction of a nine-storey Rajagopuram and accompanying infrastructure designed to accommodate a growing influx of devotees, including queue complexes for up to 6,000 individuals, feeding rooms, food stalls, and restrooms. The project emphasizes adherence to 'shastras' and Agama Shastra traditions. Officials were also directed to ensure the development of wide roads and restrict internal temple premises to electric vehicles.
