The stated objective for this special service is to alleviate passenger congestion during the peak summer travel period.
The special train configuration includes 18 Sleeper Class coaches and two Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Vans/Divyangjan Friendly Compartment, totaling 20 coaches. Passengers will find intermediate stops at several stations, including Hassan, Arsikere, Birur, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Vijayapura, Solapur, Daund, Belapur, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Junction, and Agra Cantt, serving both directions of travel.

Conversely, the 12782 NZM MYS SF EXP departs Hazrat Nizamuddin at approximately 05:10 on its first day, reaching Mysuru Jn at 02:20 on day three of its journey, after halts at various stations including Palam, Delhi Kishan Ganj, and Adarsh Nagar Delhi.
