Reports from various sources detail a pattern of elaborate deceptions, leaving businesses and their staff bewildered and out of pocket.

A common thread involves individuals leaving premises under the pretense of stepping out for a cigarette or a vape, only to disappear. Other excuses cited for leaving include retrieving cash from a vehicle due to declined or lost cards.

In another unsettling development, CCTV footage has captured individuals deliberately placing their own hair into their food before leaving without settling their bill.
